Our Belgian designers are the creative minds behind Coretec®. Their designs give our floors their warm appearance. They take their inspiration literally from nature: through detailed scans of natural wood and stone. The results are used to create the lifelike decors for our floorings. Embossed In Register for a realistic feel
Not only do Coretec® floors look natural, but they feel natural. This is done by means of printing or embossing, a process by which the top layer of the floor is given a structure you can feel. We take this a step further by means of register embossing. A process that matches the tactile structure with the unique pattern of the floor. In other words, you can actually feel the grain and knots you see. This tactile aspect creates an even more realistic floor experience.
High-quality finish
The natural appearance of our floors is also of paramount importance in the finish. The pressed bevels are a good example of this. These are joints that we press into the floor. This produces joints of the same colour as the floor, along the length of the planks or on all sides.
